Pop singer Lady Gaga is seen sporting latex fashion in her videos and out in public.
Ever since Michelle Pfieffer’s catoman shiny look in Tim Burton’s Batman Returns hit movie theaters in the early 90s, latex has been gaining in popularity in the mainstream. Pop singers were the first in the pop culture to adopt the trend.
Now it’s Lady Gaga‘s turn to sport the fashion in her videoclips, photoshoots, and as the accompanied photos demonstrate, out in public too it seems. But while Madonna, Britney Spears & Beyonce made the material look like pure eye candy in the past, it’s Hit or Miss for Gaga who, let’s face it, is certainly looking odd more often than not – latex or no latex! Perhaps she should find a new wardrobe stylist to work with. Regardless, it’s still great to see pop artists adopt the shiny latex clothes!
