Being a latex news website, what better news than to bring you exclusive updates on brand new talent in the latex clothing industry?
It seems this up and coming latex “seamstress” known as “Alyssa Blacklickorish” has been getting a lot of attention recently as she hops all over the globe putting on shows everywhere from Berlin to San Fransisco!
There’s no denying why, as her garments are cutting edge as well as stunningly beautiful. The styles range from retro, to upscale glamorous. And so it comes as no surprise to see that top fetish models from all over the world are just dying to be encased in her elegant designs.
In this exclusive interview with Alyssa, we find out what is it exactly that inspires her to do what she does!
So what made you decide to start designing latex clothing in the first place? 
I’ve been wanting to do fashion design since I was a little girl…when I finally went to school, I realized I wanted to do something different, not use regular fabrics, I’ve been into the alternative scene for years and would see people wearing leather, PVC and net type materials, and I’m not so much a fan of leather or PVC..Then I discovered latex..
What is your favorite thing about latex?It’s hard to narrow it down to one thing that I like about latex…so many things make it so lovable..the way it feels, the way it looks, the way it sounds..it makes me a happy girl…
What inspires you the most when it comes to creating new pieces?I’m highly into vintage, so that’s the start..but also my lovely friends that model..I get an idea of a sort in my head and think…”Ooh! This would look good on her (or him)!”
If you have seen my pieces, I love anything that drapes or is gathered..anything with texture…I haven’t really seen it done before, so I’m happy to do anything of that sort.
I love to travel and I have so much fun doing shows! There were 12 models, and they all looked lovely…It was fun, and I got a good response from the show. I can’t wait for the next!
