There are big blockbuster movies with huge advertising campaigns around them, which create enough awareness in the latex fetish crowd their favorite material got a role there too. It’s the case of Watchmen, Underworld or Matrix trilogy. And then there are other movies without such support. But the bigger gems they turn out to be. And the more they deserve to be mentioned – like Bibliothèque

The movie has been born from a cooperation of German, Hungarian, British and Romanian filmmakers, with the Hungarian Szabolcs Hajdu being the story and screenplay author, so as the director.

The plot starts pretty ordinarily. A woman, Mona, pleads at Child Protection Agency officer to return her daughter back under her custody, after she had been taken away from her aunt where Mona had left her during her absence abroad. The man asks her to explain the situation, so she reveals him her story – bizarre, sometimes sad, but magical in its own way.

Honestly, latex does not play the main role in the movie, but it is present in one of the brilliant moments of the film, which will make every kinky soul shiver with delight. For those who don’t care about spoilers…

Mona at one moment ends up in a bizarre club called Bibliothèque Pascal, a kinky high class brothel in fact, where prostitutes are forced to act the parts of literary characters – Lolita, Pinocchio, Jean d’Arc…. Mona first “gets” the role of Jean d’Arc, but later on is sent to become Desdemona. The character of Desdemona, the one on the attached pictures, is dressed in black latex catsuit and mask. During her act then, all played in sanitary white room, even enclosed in a vac-bed and tortured by breath control. Brilliant on so many levels!

The movie is exceptional from visual side, even from the sound side and definitely story-vise. I whole-heartily recommend it to anyone enjoying quality film work. Go and check if your local cinemas offer it in their program. And if not, rent it on DVD and reserve a quiet evening to watch it; no popcorn, just a glass of wine eventually.

Sasha Baron Cohen wears latex in his new movie Brüno as Austrian gay fashionista.

Can you imagine Borat, the guy from Kazachstan in latex? Probably rather not. On the other hand it’s not surprising that into the wardrobe of Brüno, rubber perfectly fits in. And still it’s the same Sasha Baron Cohen, who introduces his another character in his new crazy movie called as the main character Brüno.

The movie is about Austrian Brüno, following the gay TV fashion magazine host as he sets out to become “the biggest Austrian superstar since Hitler”. Looking for a new path in his career, he decides to become a celebrity in the United States and moves to Los Angeles.

Kinky scenes in the movie:

• At the start of the movie Brüno features his show Funkyzeit in a stylish transparent PVC suit with black trimming
• Brüno and his assistant Lutz. They have a spark, and they wake up the next morning in S&M outfits, cuffed to each other, in the hotel room.
• Brüno doesn’t want to have sex with a woman in a swingers club, so she keeps whipping him with a belt until he falls through a window and runs away.
• Brüno is obviously gay, and is in a satisfying relationship with his small Asian boyfriend (Clifford Banagale). For their carnal pleasure they have a set of colorful latex costumes. The outfits were created by Syren CoutureLatex, their head designer Jeffrey Gent.

“The outfit I created consists of a pair of custom-designed latex short shorts with studded codpiece and rear zipper as well as a matching top with buckling collar and short cropped sleeves,” says Gent. “I made a similar outfit in metallic green for his partner that also has the interesting detail of nipple zippers and pants with all round zipper. It is not everyday that I’m asked to make something that is deliberately tacky and over the top!”

The movie is worth to see not only for those scenes tough. If you can accept Cohen’s way of humour, he will entertain you, while disclosing a lot of prejudice, intolerance and most of all stupidity in the people around.

The super hero movie will hit theaters in 2010. Johansson will also take up the same role in the new “The Avengers” movie, scheduled for 2012. “The Black Widow is the name of a fictional spy character in Marvel Comics universe” (Wikipedia) and its appearances are not limited to one single comic book title.  The original Natalia Romanova (AKA Natasha Romanoff) alter-ego character dates back to April 1964 when she appeared in Tales of Suspense #52. In the new Iron Man movie, The Black Widow is  in fact a Russian superspy, accompanied by Whiplash, a character played by Mickey Rourke. Robert Downey Jr. will take up the role of “Iron Man” again.

From what it looks like, the outfit Scarlett will wear (below) certainly resembles a latex catsuit!
