At Milan Fashion Week in February/March 2010, Canadian brothers Dean and Dan, designers from DSquared2 presented their new woman collection for the years 2010/2011.

They combine black outfits mainly with red latex accessories – stockings and gloves.

I really like the contrast of black and shiny red. The way how they combine two different materials fits together, that’s something what really draws your attention.

The effect is very elegant and sexy at the same time. Don’t you think?

On few snaps black latex panties and gloves can also be seen. I wonder how the high fashion models felt wearing these, especially the panties. Could they become new fans of the material, hihi?

I also love the music chosen for the fashion show. The dynamics really hits my fetish chord, reminds me of kinky parties and their fashion shows.

Ectomorph is a London based fashion company of latex or polyurethane stretch garments. The lead designer and owner Krystina Kitsis founded the company in 1985.  One of the most prominent trademarks of the label is that their latex is sewn.

Ectomorph´s new collection was officially launched at the beginning of February at London Edge and complement their current offering with many new amazing outfits.

Their Spring/Summer 2010 collection was photographed by well known fetish photographer Keital.

As Krystina says, this collection focuses on three fashion trends:

The first was an architectural theme of bold silhouettes and sculptural cuts with graphic detail. A magnificent pearlised green long strapless dress with a ripple of frills down the back epitomised this look.

The second was a ‘40s theme based particularly on Dior images from the forties and the “New Look” which we updated to give a contemporary feel and in this collection is worn by Michelle.

The final theme was a re-look at the ‘80s incorporating punk and gothic rhythms like studding, zips, military references and focus on the shoulders. These qualities can be seen in the Bikers jacket and cape style dresses, catsuits and bodys.

In my opinion the garments look very elegant. Now only to choose the best model and color. Which one is your favorite?

It seems this up and coming latex “seamstress” known as “Alyssa Blacklickorish” has been getting a lot of attention recently as she hops all over the globe putting on shows everywhere from Berlin to San Fransisco!

There’s no denying why, as her garments are cutting edge as well as stunningly beautiful. The styles range from retro, to upscale glamorous. And so it comes as no surprise to see that top fetish models from all over the world are just dying to be encased in her elegant designs.

In this exclusive interview with Alyssa, we find out what is it exactly that inspires her to do what she does!

So what made you decide to start designing latex clothing in the first place?
I’ve been wanting to do fashion design since I was a little girl…when I finally went to school, I realized I wanted to do something different, not use regular fabrics, I’ve been into the alternative scene for years and would see people wearing leather, PVC and net type materials, and I’m not so much a fan of leather or PVC..Then I discovered latex..

Inner Sanctum

The United Kingdom based latex manufacturer Inner Sanctum just announced a new woman collection.

According to an information source at Inner Sanctum the inspiration comes of light, darkness and magic. This is the first of four new collections due over the next year. It is intended to form a foundation of an evolutionary process that will explore this theme in ever more complexity through design.

Not only new model creations are being added but Inner Sanctum also broadens their colors selection. The new latex colors come from the company Radical Rubber. At the time of the writing of this article it’s Electric Leaf, Electric Rose, Electric Lilac and Metallic Black. But several more radical colors will became available over the year!

The main face of the new collection is the German model Eden who posed for photographer Pfauenberg. This was the first time Inner Sanctum collaborated with the German photographer, but due to the more than satisfactory result the cooperation will go on with him with more photo shoots based in his homeland. Inner Sanctum says Germany is one of their biggest markets. So it comes as no surprise a German version of their website is being prepared.

As mentioned above this is the first of four new collections due over the course of the year. It was recently confirmed the next set would feature the fetish goddess Bianca Beauchamp shot by her brilliant partner and photographer Martin Perreault. A top designer with top presentation, a combo definitely worth looking forward to.
